I'd assume/hope that the save loading would be fixed by OS updates before this feature goes live. Apparently, this was problematic because of how saves are stored under the PS3 and PS4 operating systems, and for any online games that store your stats, progress state, or entitlements (for any in-game purchases) on their servers to prevent save hacking. Your unique identifier was your PSN ID, period. I forget where, but one source had stated that PSN didn't have any underlying unique identifier.
